◆ Aerospace civilian titanium
Guided by national large-scale engineering and military civilian integration policies, aviation titanium continues to be promising and gradually attracts the capital market, with the self-developed C919 large passenger aircraft using 9.3% of titanium. French Airbus predicts that China's aviation consumption of titanium will reach over 500000 tons in the next 10-20 years.
◆ Marine titanium
The marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry is a strategic emerging industry, and high-strength and high-strength titanium alloys are the key materials for the development of marine engineering equipment. China plans to implement major scientific and technological projects such as the "10000 meter submersible", and it has been determined that all the main structures will be constructed of titanium alloy. It is expected that in the next 10-20 years, China's offshore engineering use of titanium will reach over 50000 tons.
◆ Metallurgical field
Titanium is an important additive in steel production, and the addition of titanium can refine the casting and weld microstructure, prevent the formation of bubbles in the steel, reduce the tendency for casting cracking and mechanical properties. At present, the amount of titanium used in the steel industry is also gradually increasing.
◆ Automobile industry
The titanium alloy parts on cars include: rotor blades, connecting rods, valves, etc. of turbine chargers made of TiAl. Recently, progress has been made in the development of low-cost titanium alloys for engine valves and exhaust. According to current market statistics, the amount of titanium used in China's automotive industry reaches 100000 to 150000 tons.
◆ Construction industry
The many advantages of titanium determine that titanium is very suitable for the field of construction engineering, as a building wall material in various environments. In buildings, titanium is mainly used for roofs, accounting for about 60%, and for exterior walls, accounting for about 30%.
It is expected that in the next twenty years, the domestic market in China will consume over 300000 tons of titanium. There is still significant room for development in the titanium market
