1. Annealing
Generally speaking, the annealing of metals involves the elimination of internal strain, the recovery of the processed structure, and the heat treatment during crystallization. The annealing treatment of titanium alloys is implemented to stabilize the structure, stabilize product size, improve machinability, and improve mechanical properties.
2. Solid solution treatment
The so-called solid solution treatment is a heat treatment operation that allows all alloy elements to blend into the matrix phase to form a uniform solid solution and quickly cool to room temperature, maintaining the microstructure at high temperature and obtaining a supersaturated solid solution. Due to the instability of supersaturated solid solutions, if reheated at a certain temperature, the incorporated elements will either precipitate in the form of compounds or form equilibrium stable phases, thereby achieving a stable state.
3. Timeliness treatment
The aging of an alloy is the process of allowing a supersaturated solid solution that remains at room temperature to expel supersaturated elements and transfer them to an equilibrium state under the combined action of temperature and time.
